Portable Application Testing (P.A.T.)
Portable application Testing, or P.A.T. testing as it is better known.
The health and saftey at work act 1974 puts the duty of care upon both employer and employee to ensure the safety of all persons who use electrical appliances (This also includes the self employed).
It is a compulsary requirement by the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998. (PUWER)
It is a legal requirement that all electrical equipment be inspected yearly and certified that it is safe to use.
Nail Systems Scotland are now able to offer this service to Mobile Nail Technicians, Beauty Therapists and Salon Owners.
It is important that these requirements are adhered to.
