Coming from a background of work in the Makeup and Designer industry for Film & TV

She has all the relevant qualifications and knowledge required to take you through your Make Up Course and start your exciting journey in this Make Up industry.  Elaine is a highly experienced professional freelance Makeup Artist who is involved in, Weddings, Fashion Shoots and Theatre work. She has applied her many skills in makeup and hair styling for over 30 years. Elaine trained and qualified at the Central College of Commerce Glasgow in Beauty Therapy and also at the London College of Fashion gaining an HND in Hair, Makeup & Theatrical Studies. Elaine has a world of knowledge in the industry as well as being able to create classic and contemporary Wedding looks.

 On returning from London she worked with the Scottish Opera, and consolidated her skills at both the BBC and STV. She has worked on many TV productions such as:

Children in Need, Comic Relief and many other TV dramas.

Her movie work includes World War Z and  The Outlaw King.

She is also involved with Sky sports, Gaelic TV and the world famous Outlander series released on Netflix.

 Elaine has exclusively taught at The Scottish Beauty School delivering The 3 Day Make Up Course and our 2 Day Advanced Make Up Course for many years. Elaine puts her students at ease with her teaching approach which makes picking up new techniques fun. The content of the course covers a wide range of makeup styles, tips, techniques and how to apply make up the best way to suit all ages and skin types.
